Omro Thrift Store is looking for a few volunteers to assist in a variety of jobs around the store. Some of these jobs would include pricing products, sort and price clothing, check out customers, create product displays, and to assist any customers that come into the store.

HFHO works to build safe and affordable homes for families in need in the greater Oshkosh area.

All proceeds from the HFHO ReStore are used to build safe and affordable housing for families in need in the Oshkosh area.

Winneconne Thrift and Gift is looking for volunteers to help our program provide the people of the community access to affordable clothing, household items, and gifts. Winneconne Thrift and Gift is able to support local service agencies and international service organizations with proceeds from the thrift store. 

Volunteer Duties would include:

Welcoming Customers

Operating A Cash Register

Bagging

Checking in Donations

Stocking

Sorting 

Pricing

Display Resets

Cleaning

Etc.

Meet New Friends!

We match a caring volunteer, age 55 and older with an individual age 60+ and/or with disabilities who is lonely and looking to increase interactions with people. The volunteer will meet or call on a regular basis enabling the participant to remain independent as long as possible, and to lessen the effects of isolation. Most of the participants in this program are home bound living independently or in assisted living. The volunteer acts as a "friendly neighbor" who checks in with the participant and spends some quality time with them. Training is provided.

Cafe Attendant Volunteer-Provide snacks and refreshments to donors post donation while watching for signs of donor reaction and alerting Collections staff of reactions. 

Blood Drive Donor Registration Attendant Volunteer-Mobile-Volunteer will register blood donors as they enter blood drives and/or fixed sites.

We have various sites around the county that could use your help! Our meals are served at lunch time and our sites are typically open Mon-Fri From 10:30 am to 1 pm. Volunteers can pick and choose their time and day(s) for volunteering.

Please reach out and we will provide more information concerning the program and match you up with one of our meal site managers. They will work with you to determine how best to use your skills to improve our meal site, our program, and our community!

ADVOCAP's Retired Senior Volunteer Program helps volunteers, age 55+, find meaningful volunteer opportunities in Winnebago, Green Lake, and Fond Du Lac Counties.

Do you love to drive and meet new people? Do you want to make a positive difference in your community? Then serving as a volunteer for ADVOCAP's transportation program is a great opportunity for you! Just last year we were able to accommodate over 1700 rides for people in our community.

This valuable program enables children, adults and seniors to attend important appointments at no cost. This opportunity is open to volunteers age 55 and older that possess a reliable car and a good driving record. A valid Wisconsin drivers license, proof of insurance and background check is required. We receive multiple ride requests per day so we are able to accommodate any amount of time you are able to commit. Drivers can drive as much or as little as they would like and can refuse any ride. So even if you just have a few hours a week you would be making a lasting impact on someone's life!

Mileage and meal expense reimbursement at the current IRS rate
