Volunteer: Board of DirectorTITLE: Member, Community Benefit Tree Inc Board of Directors REPORTS TO: Board President PURPOSE: To serve the Board as a voting member, to develop policies, procedures and regulations for the operation of Community Benefit Tree Inc; to monitor finances of the organization, its programs and performance; and secure and ensure equate funds to support the operations. TERM: Two years EXPECTED MEETING ATTENDENCE: - Regularly attend meetings as scheduled each month. The third Friday of the month at 11:00a.m.-12:30p.m. - Attend standing committee meetings - Attend Board retreats, in-service workshops and other Board development activities - In order to maintain continuity, the member needs to be present on consistent basis. Therefore, a board member is allowed three absences during the year, if more than three meetings are missed in a 12 month period; the board will address the issue when the need arises.
