Our facility in which we provide services to clients plays an important role in the support we are able to offer them. Maintaining a clean, well-organized space provides a welcoming and comforting environment for them when they may need it most. Due to our staff's time commitment to provide support services to our clients, we need assistance from volunteers to keep our facility clean and well organized. Duties may include things such as: Sweeping/mopping/vacuuming floors Dusting Wiping down/sanitizing surfaces Cleaning windows Cleaning bathrooms Sorting and putting away donations Organizing and stocking shelter “grab and go” areas Picking up/cleaning play areas Cleaning vacant shelter rooms Assisting moving furniture items Other unique needs that may arise Requirements: Must be able to lift 25 lbs. This garden will be planted in memory of those who have lost their lives to domestic violence, and to “plant the seeds” of hope to those affected by domestic violence. This spring, we will begin to plant the garden. We will plant throughout the year, depending on when the different plants will thrive best to be planted. We will then need volunteers to come in routinely to maintain the garden.
