Who We Are

St. Vincent de Paul in Oshkosh utilizes sale proceeds to fight the battle of poverty in the community. For example, rent and utility assistance programs allow community members to avoid evictions, and maintain live-able conditions. In addition, St. Vincent de Paul provides clothing, furniture and household items to residents of Oshkosh. Access to these invaluable resources are made possible by volunteers who dedicate their time to this organization.

What We Do

St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store is fully funded by community donations.  Some choose to donate with money, others with time and many with gently used items. Everyday we accept 50-100 boxes of community donations. Donations are then distributed internally to different departments.   Receiving, sorting, pricing, customer service, jewelry, books, media, clothing, furniture and electronics are among some of the departments. Each department a small community.  Volunteers have the freedom to choose any department they prefer.
