Who We Are

A person's academic, career, and community engagement opportunities are impacted by challenges with reading, writing, and math (often called dyslexia or dyscalculia). Yet many people lack the literacy skills they need to access those meaningful opportunities. The Learning Collaborative is dedicated to ensuring children and adults can read, write, and perform math with proficiency. We address literacy challenges on the individual, community, and systemic levels using proven methodology to turn things around. Our work is fun and engaging and it makes a lasting impact on the lives of individuals in our community.

What We Do

Direct Individual Intervention: Offering TESTING individuals for literacy learning challenges and providing TUTORING to remediate those challenges.

Community Learning and Empowerment: Present COMMUNITY FORUMS, provide FOR EMPLOYERS and SOCIAL SERVICE SYSTEM and sponsor PEER SUPPORT GROUPS.

Transforming Systems and Institutions: Professional-to-Professional training and structural change to educators and educational institutions.
