These volunteer positions will assist us first with set-up of our Autumn Adventure event activities at South Park (1 W 12th Ave, Oshkosh, WI 54902) Pavilion 1, then food service during dinner, later in the running of some crafts, activities or games primarily for children 3 and under, and lastly with clean-up after our event.
Please wear clean & comfortable clothing that will not inhibit your movement and allow you to do the tasks needed. Jeans/shorts/comfortable clothes in good condition are appropriate. Please also wear comfortable shoes.
Personal and food-safety hygiene including the wearing gloves (during food service) will be required and provided.
All individual/family names/information you may become aware of through this event are/is confidential and should not be shared or discussed. Any information gained about individuals/families should be kept private and you must sign a Confidentiality/Waiver Statement (attached) to volunteer. If under 18 your parent/guardian must also sign the attached Confidentiality/Waiver document for you to volunteer.
In case of an illness or unforeseen emergency, contact the Volunteer Coordinator immediately if you aren’t able to make it to the event. You will be given a work cell number and e-mail address of the Volunteer Coordinator when your volunteer spot is confirmed. It is important that you keep your commitment to help us! We rely on you to make our events a success. We truly can’t do it without our volunteers.
Although this is an event for families with young children, child care is not provided for children of volunteers. Please do not bring children with you unless they are 15 or older and are also approved to volunteer.
We are happy to sign proof of volunteer hour forms for you. Be sure to let us know you need our signature at the end of the event.
