The Sports Spectacular Event Volunteers will assist us with set-up, running activities and games, and clean-up after the event. Shifts will take place within 3:30 - 7:30pm (4 hours). Shorter 2-3 hour volunteer shifts are acceptable. The Sports Spectacular Fatherhood Event takes place from 5-7pm for participants of Parent Connection, Head Start & the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh and is not open to the public. This event is targeted for children 0-6 years of age and an adult buddy of their choosing, usually a dad, stepdad, uncle, or father figure. However, whole families will often attend. Volunteers must maintain the confidentiality of those in attendance and sign a Confidentiality & Waiver Agreement before they can volunteer. If a volunteer is under 18 a parent or guardian must sign the Agreement as well.
Must be good with young children (0-6 yrs), families, crowds and noise. Must be able to physically assist young children and families with sports-related activities if volunteering for that.
