- Connect with Purpose: Schedule and conduct virtual screening interviews to learn what motivates each volunteer.
- Match with Meaning: Use your understanding of volunteer interests, skills, and availability to recommend roles that fit.
- Stay Informed: Review available opportunities and prepare for interviews using standardized training materials.
- Keep Records Current: Update candidate profiles and referrals in Volunteer Connection, our online volunteer system.
- Support the Mission: Help volunteers begin their journey with clarity, confidence, and connection.

- Warm & Welcoming Communicator: You enjoy talking with people and helping them feel heard and supported.
- Organized & Reliable: You manage your time well and follow through on tasks with care.
- Tech-Ready: You’re comfortable using online systems and learning new tools (training provided).
- Service-Oriented: You’re enthusiastic about the Red Cross mission and helping others find their place in it.
- Team Player: You collaborate well and stay connected with your team virtually.
- Experience Matters: Customer service, HR, or interview experience is a plus—but your people skills matter most.
- Virtual-Ready: You have reliable internet and a quiet space to volunteer from home.
