Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services Inc is a non-profit agency that provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, 24 hour crisis support, empowerment services, legal advocacy, support groups, and youth services to survivors experiencing domestic abuse.
Christine Ann believes that volunteers are vital partners in fulfilling our mission and strengthening our organization. Volunteers provide us with their unique talents, skills and time, that in turn plays a crucial role in serving our clients. We are committed to the recruitment, training and support of volunteers to help us reach our goal in ending the cycle of domestic violence.
Due to the time commitments our staff provides to our clients, we are looking for volunteers who would be able to assist us in outdoor upkeeping. This would include things such as:
Mowing
Raking
Weeding
Gardening
Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to kneel/squat for extended periods of time
Must be able to work with hands
Must be able to work in the sun for extended periods of time
Christine Ann is dedicated to keeping a welcoming, clean, and supportive environment for our survivors. We would not be able to upkeep our space and provide this for them without the help from our volunteers.
