Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Services Inc is a non-profit agency that provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, 24-hour crisis support, empowerment services, legal advocacy, support groups, and youth services to survivors experiencing domestic abuse.
We believe that volunteers are vital partners in fulfilling our mission and strengthening our organization. Volunteers provide us with their unique talents, skills, and time, that in turn plays a crucial role in serving our clients. We are committed to the recruitment, training, and support of volunteers to help us reach our goal of ending the cycle of domestic violence.
At Christine Ann, we strive to protect clients' dignity by providing all the necessities they need, such as hygiene products and cleaning products, as well as maintaining a clean, organized environment for them. Once a month, we check all inventory to gauge what items we are most in need of to ensure that we can obtain and provide them. We are looking for a volunteer who could come in the end of each month to complete the inventory check. This could include:
Shuffling items from the storage closet to all grab and go areas of the shelter
Stocking other facility areas (such as bathrooms and break rooms)
Using checklist to check inventory left in storage closet after stocking is complete
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Must be able to use the stairs
Must have organizational skills
Must be able to move independently
