Description

By volunteering as a mediator, you can make a meaningful difference, not only in the lives of people you personally guide through mediation but also in the broader community by promoting a culture of collaborative resolution building.

Whether you are completely new to mediation or experienced, have no fear. We deeply invest ourselves in training, coaching, and mentoring our volunteers, so everyone is confident facilitating the process of mediation.

By becoming a volunteer with us, we are confident you will grow in areas such as the ones listed below through your first-hand experiences and reflections with our community of mediators:

  • Conflict Resolution: Enhance your ability to resolve conflicts in all settings of life, including personal and professional.
  • Community Impact: Promote peace and understanding within our community on the frontlines by helping individuals resolve conflicts peacefully and collaboratively.
  • Communication: Gain a deeper understanding of human behavior and improve your communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Empowerment of Others: Help individuals and groups develop their own solutions to conflicts, empowering them to manage disputes more effectively in the future.
  • Satisfaction: Experience the fulfillment that comes from helping others navigate their challenging conflicts and reach a clear sense of closure.
