Group Event Assistant

 MVMEC hosts several groups during the course of the year. This includes school groups, scout groups and bus tours. Examples of what group event assistants would be asked to do would include providing for things like overall tours of the museum, an educational station talk on a particular period of military history or flag folding demonstrations. Jobs depend on the request of the group as to what they would like to see. Knowledge of military history is a plus, but we will be available to help you get your feet under you. This can be a very rewarding job, as one interacts with veterans, their families, or children interested in learning about our veterans and their history. Events are usually scheduled Mon-Fri, and mostly last 1-3 hours.
