These event volunteer positions will assist us first with set-up of our Autumn Adventure event activities at South Park (1300 Georgia St, Oshkosh) Pavilion 1, food service during dinner or running of some crafts, activities or games, and with clean-up after our event.
Please wear clean & comfortable clothing that will not inhibit your movement and allow you to do the outdoor tasks needed. Jeans/shorts/comfortable clothes in good condition are appropriate. Please also wear comfortable, closed toe shoes.
Personal and food-safety hygiene including the wearing of gloves (during food service) will be required and provided.
All individual/family names/information you may become aware of through this event should not be shared publicly. If volunteering you agree that information gained about individuals/families will be respected & kept private. If anything of concern is witnessed at the event, you are to share that with a staff member. The safety of all attending is our top priority. Families attending are to monitor their own children for safety and provide their supervision. Families needing help with this are to bring help with them or ask a staff member for help while at the event. Volunteers will not be in charge of unsupervised children.
In case of an illness or unforeseen emergency, contact the volunteer coordinator immediately if you aren’t able to make it to the event. You will be given a work cell number and e-mail address of the volunteer coordinator when your volunteer spot is confirmed. It is important that you keep your commitment to help us! We rely on you to make our events a success. We truly can’t do it without you.
Although this is an event for families with young children (most under 3), child care is not provided for children of volunteers. Please do not bring children with you unless they are 15 or older and are also volunteering.
We are happy to sign proof of volunteer hour forms for you. Be sure to let us know you need our signature at the end of the event.
